Iced In
It is winter weather time again and the kids and I are stuck inside for the second day in a row. We have been blessed with a cold front bearing Ice and schools are closed. It is these times when I realize the insanity that possesses children who are house bound. All their bad behaviors that have been suppressed, or slightly suppressed, rise to the surface and we find ourselves in a whirlwind of chaos and time outs. I try to be fun and make hot chocolate, which no one even likes and I end up drinking it all, to building a gingerbread house, that gets it's own blog, but no matter what they have gone insane. Currently it is noon and I am dreaming of nap time which I just might give a dose of benedryl 30 minutes before so that I can have some alone time to clean up the disasters left behind by the crazy ones running around my house. There is hope for me yet though as tomorrow is expected to be 47 degrees, Kaitlyn will be back in school and I will only have one crazy person running about the house....Hank that is.... At least when it snows we can go outside and play. Not much you can do with ice. It is days like this I seriously think it won't be long until that impending nervous breakdown happens. Luckily today is not that day....so far.
